THE CHRISTMAS CONCERT ON THURSDAY, DEC. 20th @ 7pm
Bonjour,
The SKs started off Friday with a house game, bell work and morning circle time (special helper/calendar/weather, etc).
Student also attended French class in the morning.
For our Unit of Inquiry on "Seasons", we focused on the season Fall this week. Today students created a tree craft with red, orange and yellow paper as leaves to represent what trees look like in the Fall-time.
After first lunch/recess, students had storytime (book chosen by the Special Helper). Show & Share was today; we had many b"oa"ts as well as a c"oa"t and a t"oa"d! Afterwards, students had Reading Buddies with Ms. Elliott's Grade 7/8's.
Students also had a blast attending Gym class with Ms. Lopez.
At the end of the day, students had Art. Today our class and Ms. Genco's class got together to begin making super-cool Christmas ornaments that are made from flour, water and salt, which will then be baked in the oven in the shape of each student's hand-print. Next week the boys & girls will paint their ornaments to ensure its completion for home-time before the holidays. Students had a great time with this "messy" project!
